Call for Papers: RAWI 5th National Gathering with Mizna
Mizna is partnering with RAWI (Radius of Arab Writers, Inc.) to present the 5th National RAWI + Mizna Literary Gathering, September 18 to 21, at Open Book in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The theme this year is "New Beginnings." The Call for Papers is currently open and HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO APRIL 21, 2014, and seeks paper, performance, workshop, and panel proposals.   MORE >>

Poems Are a Sacred Space: a Sacred Salon
This spring the MIA has invited Mizna to host a creative salon engaging with a new exhibit exploring different sides of "the sacred." Mizna will invite visitors to put excerpts from our literary journal into dialogue with the diverse pieces in the show as they wander through. Come spend the afternoon between words and art!
